Custom Surveys are performed on unique positions, positions contained within a very specific industry or segment, or because of special market circumstances.

Our Salary Source database is designed to provide compensation information for common benchmark positions that cross all industries. For these positions, we have successfully located at least three source matches from our existing survey library. When a customer requires information not present in our database, such as a specific industry position, we typically can offer you one of two solutions.

1. We can attempt to locate additional data in for this position (not a position found in most organizations) in published surveys not readily available to us. The cost for this service is usually $125 per hour.
   
   
2. We can obtain more specific information about the specific position from you including a summary of duties performed and what other organizations employ similar staff. Next, we would approach these organizations and inquire about their willingness to participate in a direct-market survey. Your name and organization will not be identified to them and they will usually be rewarded with the survey results in exchange for their participation. We charge a rate of $125 per hour for our services on direct market surveys. This is the only alternative available for some positions where no published data exists.
